By communicating our expectations to our suppliers, we strive to have responsible supply chain practices replicated throughout our supply chain. By profiling and managing the relative risks of each of our strategic suppliers, we better ensure that our global operations are prepared for continuous production and product delivery to our customers — while upholding industry and Micron standards relating to sustainability.
Supplier requirements
Micron expects our suppliers to meet high standards of ethical performance in all of their business interactions. Our suppliers are expected to ensure that the products and services they provide to us are in line with all contract specifications, laws and regulations that apply.
Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) supplier introduction
As a member of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) formerly known as Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), Micron is part of a group of leading electronics companies committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics throughout the global supply chain as outlined in the RBA Code of Conduct.
In support of global responsible sourcing, Micron is committed to ensuring that conflict minerals used in the manufacture of its products do not directly or indirectly fund violence or human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjoining countries.
We are dedicated to taking steps to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any of our supply chains, or in any part of our business.
Everything we do is with community and environmental sustainability in mind.
